Marlwood School

The complete refurbishment of the main school building with new science rooms, food technology, art, resistant materials, graphics/textiles and general teaching and staff areas to meet the future demands of the Trust.

The building in part was provided with new VRF DX heating system, heat reclaim ventilation, local extract ventilation and panel heaters. Improvements to the hot and cold-water services and above ground drainage including point of use hot water heating. New gas services were also introduced to the science rooms.

The building was rewired in full with new high efficiency LED lighting and controls. DALI dimming was also introduced to teaching and staff areas. New electrical infrastructure was provided and improvements to alarms. The lightning protection system was replaced, and surge protection provided to the new electrical installation.

 BJP worked closely with the Client, project team and appointed contractors during the construction period to ensure the building was delivered on time and within budget.
