Bristol Cathedral Primary School
The expansion of Cathedral Primary School within the lower floors of Bristol Central Library, creating new teaching and staff spaces within the Grade 1 listed building.
The designs provided all Mechanical and Electrical Services for the new school spaces including heating, cooling, mechanical ventilation, low energy lighting and controls, alarm systems and CCTV. The designs were sympathetically co-ordinated with the listed building structure, keeping new façade wall openings discrete.
The challenge of this project was to integrate exposed modern services, but within the constraints of a historic Grade 1 listed building within limited natural light. The project became particularly challenging as it spanned the COVID 19 Pandemic yet it was successfully delivered to the Client.

The Brief involved creation of a new School for the residential development on a Brownfield site expansion in North Bristol.
Marlwood School
Complete refurbishment of the main school building with new science rooms, food technology, art, resistant materials, graphics/textiles and general teaching and staff areas to meet the future demands of the Trust.
