The refurbishment and extension of a National Trust property in a Site of Special Scientific Interest alongside the River Avill, in the grounds of Dunster Castle.
The challenge of this project was to integrate modern services to support a commercial catering operation, but within the constraints of a historic building. The installations includes industrial ventilation, water storage and pressure boosting, ecologically sensitive lighting and efficient intelligent heating.
The project became particularly challenging as it spanned the COVID 19 Pandemic, yet it was successfully delivered to a delighted client.
